Netflix COO Greg Peters said from the last many years we are into learning how games can keep customers on service and we are going to try bunch of new things. Currently company catalog is at 24 games covers different genres and shows of Netflix like “Stranger Things: 1984.” Most of games are made on popular shows. New games coming including “Queen’s Gambit Chess” and its based on popular Netflix show.
New Game Studio
Netflix has opened his own studio for game development in Southern California. Netflix setup new shop in Helsinki, Finland with Zynga GM. New Southern California studio will be led by Chacko Sonny who’s former executive producer on “Overwatch.” at Blizzard Entertainment it was big hit and earned billion of dollars. Currently 14 games are in development now. So Netflix now will be developing original Netflix games and there will be something for everyone in games library.
